Behavior Clinician (Contract)

We are an expanding Behavioral Support provider seeking Level 2 Behavior Clinicians to join our team and provide direct support in the development and implementation of behavior support services for youth, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health challenges throughout Central Indiana.  Responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, developing and implementing BSP’s, training support staff on BSP’s & effective implementation strategies, promoting self-advocacy through a person centered approach, and tracking, analyzing and reporting data and progress in accordance with CSS and state regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology or other applied health service area of psychology; Social Work; or Counseling.  Be licensed Therapist, Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor in accordance with IC 25-23-6.  Minimum 2 years Behavior Support experience.  Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of the individuals.  Must provide own transportation with properly registered vehicle, have a valid driver’s license and insurance.


Youth Direct Care Worker (Part time/Full Time)

Cornerstone's Youth Direct Care Workers are the core of our company! Our Direct Care Staff work with youth across Indiana in a home setting at our Emergency Shelter. Responsibilities include: Integrating Cornerstone Youth Services guiding principles by providing professional, client-centered guidance and support to young men between the ages of 10 and 15 years old who have been placed in the temporary custody of the Indiana Department of Child Services. Our staff assists in different areas as needed, while teaching appropriate behaviors and providing behavior management assistance. Assists in developing and/or teaching daily living skills. Assists people with reaching personal goals, learning new skills and community integration.  

Requirements:

High school education. Dependability and reliability required. Must have effective communication skills as exhibited by being able to articulate thoughts clearly, being able to speak clearly, and showing a positive attitude. Must have good decision-making skills. Must have the ability to operate a personal computer. Must have the ability to work well with others, accurately complete written documentation in a timely manner, maintain confidentiality, and provide assistance with transporting clients as needed. Must have dependable transportation, a current valid Indiana driver's license, car insurance that meets Indiana state requirements and a clean driving record. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and be at least 18 years of age. Must pass the provided Indiana Department of Child Services background check. Experience working in a group home, detention center or correctional environment preferred.
